Swing18 League Guidelines

SESSIONS 

· Fall/Winter 2024 Session (Oct 7, 2024 - Jan 12, 2025) 14 Courses, OPEN SCHEDULING FORMAT, Play your hour whenever convenient for you during the week! You can even double up any week if you know you'll miss a week. So Convenient!

· Winter/Spring 2025 Session (Jan 13, 2025 - April 21, 2025) 14 Courses, OPEN Scheduling Format

The TOP 2 TEAMS of each session will have the opportunity to "PLAYOFF" for the 

GOLF BEASTS PRIZE OF THE SEASON during the week of APRIL 22-28!

SCHEDULING – OPEN SCHEDULING means YOUR CHOICE of DAY/TIME

· Teams can play on their own or with another team – your preference

· If you choose to play with another team, you can do so in separate bays (one hour play) or together in one bay (2 hours play)

· Total convenience in scheduling - at YOUR Convenience!

LEAGUE FEES

· $150 per team (or $75 per player) Entry fee for leagues, must be paid up-front prior to being registered for leagues. League Entry Fees make up the pot for overall winners.

· $20 per round/week per player or $40 per team/week green fees.

· Cancellations accepted up to 5 days prior to start of league play in writing to swing18.tab@gmail.com for full refund of Entry Fee

SEASON PRIZES

Winnings from League Fee Pot:

1st Place Team - 25% plus trophy / 2nd - 20% plus trophy / 3rd - 15%

 4th - 10% / Plus, 5th - $50 Swing18 Gift Cert x 2

REQUIREMENTS

· Must follow Swing18 Terms and Conditions and sign Injury Liability Waiver

· Scorecard

· Must be at least 16 years old (Parent/Guardian must sign liability waiver if under 19 years old)

· Open Scheduling tee times must be pre-arranged for Swing18 to schedule in registry. Changes must be called in or requested in ample time at the desk for change in registry.

REGULATIONS/SCORING FORMAT

· No handicaps to begin with (heads up play to start) Simple TEAM handicap system is implemented after Week 4 and recalculated every 3 weeks throughout the rest of league play.

· 2 players per team, 1 hour time blocked for play (this will include any warm up swings)

· If 2 teams are playing together, 2 hours blocked for play (this includes any warm up swings)

· 9-hole scramble play every round – to be determined by Swing18 League Reps

· Different course/9-hole rounds each session 

· Subs/alternates are allowed but MUST be pre-arranged by player who will be absent and reported. No more than 3 absences/subs allowed without a formal replacement.

· Team member can cover for absent partner no more than once through each league session.

· All league play uses 15-foot gimme putt, in the interest of time.

· Any hole not finished in the allotted time will be given Bogey for the remaining holes.

· No Show-No call Teams will be given Double Bogey for all holes for the week.

· Golfers must play at a reasonably fast pace but we have not experienced any issued in going over-time limit for the most part. Remember, any warm-ups are included in the time frame for play. 

· Swing18 staff withholds the right to discontinue any players session (intoxication, disrespect, disregarding terms and conditions of play, etc,..).
